We are a seven physician pediatric practice located on the Piedmont Hospital medical campus in the heart of Buckhead. Each of our physicians is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. We provide comprehensive medical care to children of all ages.

Our physicians strive to promote wellness by focusing on growth and development for each child, and to provide up-to-date medical care in times of sickness. Piedmont Pediatrics looks forward to serving you and your family for many years to come.
Announcements - show all
7/5/2016  -   Attention all patients with United Healthcare insurance: Piedmont Pediatrics is a private organization and we do not fall under the Piedmont Hospital blanket of physicians and services no longer accepting UHC. We will gladly continue to see and treat your children. Also, if a lab study or x-ray needs to be ordered, we will do so at CHOA (Children's Healthcare) and not at Piedmont. Please call our business office if you have any questions. Thank you.
4/21/2016  -   We understand many of you have had billing concerns over the past year. We did indeed out-source our billing office in April of 2015. After realizing that it was creating difficulties for our patients and ourselves, we brought our billing office back in-house. Starting April 1st 2016, we now have our billers right here in the office. Please call or stop by with any and all billing concerns. We'd be glad to help you get the answers you need. As always, thank you.
4/12/2016  -   SCHOOL/ CAMP FORMS: In order to request hearing/vision/ immunization forms or school/sport/ camp forms, please call, fax, or email your request. You can also request these forms at your office visit. Parents should fill out as much of the info as possible (demographics, health hx, etc) and SIGN the forms where appropriate. Please plan ahead and allow 5-7 business days for our office to complete the forms. We have a very heavy volume of forms to complete during the back-to-school season, and they are completed on a "first in-first out" basis. Also note that your child must have had a well-child check-up within the past 12 months for us to sign off on the forms. Parents are required to provide self-addressed stamped envelopes or pick up the forms at the office once completed. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
5/11/2015  -   NEW ADHD appointment policy: For all patients who routinely take stimulant medications for ADHD, we are implementing a better policy to monitor growth and side effects of these meds. After initially establishing the right medication and dose with your doctor, it is advised that the patient be seen every 3 months during the first year and then every 6 months thereafter for follow-up. Annually, this appt will be the full well-child-check. However, these other quick appts will be for weight, height, blood pressure, and side effect monitoring. These appts may be with your primary doctor or with Barbara Koval, NP, who is specifically trained in ADHD as well. Thank you in advance.
2/18/2013  -   Piedmont Pediatrics strongly discourages walk-in patients during the week. If you bring your child in on a walk-in basis on Mondays through Fridays, we will offer you an appointment later that day. For this appointment, you may wait or come back at the appropriate time. We try very hard to accommodate every family's needs on the same day, but we also want to honor the appointments previously scheduled in an efficient manner. Starting immediately, there will be an added fee of $35 to your bill if you walk-in during the week and disrupt the daily schedule. Thank you for your understanding.
